When entering Dubai or UAE, the things are prohibited to do not do in the public area or you have to follow the law or rules. Top 10 Things are Prohibited to do in Dubai.




10. No Loud Music and Dancing on the Street.


In Dubai, Playing loud music and dancing on the street are not doing in Dubai. Stay away your boom speaker and resist the urge to bust movement of your body from nowhere world like this unless you're on an official dance floor.


9. Do not Drink an Alcohol in Public Area.


This is prohibited to do in public area. If you are not following this rules, you can be result in imprisonment. However, you can drink your favorite brand in your hotel.

8. No Swearing.


Swearing is making abusive gestures. Do not make any swearing in Dubai and really prohibited. So must be wise what you saying.

7. No Homosexuality.


The homosexuality movement in Dubai is illegal. And any homosexual acts that found in public and other authority goverment would be severe punishment.

6. No Public Nudity.


Appropriate swimwear etiquette is recommendating at the beach, pool or water-boom. For women must refrain from special suits. For men, keep your six-pack undercover and put in good shirt when walking on the beach, streets, or even jogging tracks.

Don't respect for everyone who greet someone with left hand shake, don't open the door with left hand, don't give a hand for somebody with left hand with special purposes such as food. And ofcourse, do not eat with your left hand.

4. Watch your Photography Capture.


If you taking anyone's pictures without their permissions are illegal and you can be arrested and/or take any fined for doing so. Be considerate if you want to take any photo and asking with special purposes, the focus for people who wearing in their national costumes.

3. No Drugs.


Using drugs in Dubai is become a heavy imprisonment or death penalty. Or even your life time ban to proceed in Dubai.

2. Disrespect the Culture.


As a muslim country, you must respect of their religion. If you are disrespect to all of them such as religion, flag, or leader of the country is charge in punishable by law. Give respect, dress in good attire etiquette, and give respect of the culture and local people.

1. Don't Eat in Ramadan in Public Area.


In Ramadan, you must strictly not to eat in public area. Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. During this holy month eating, drinking, smoking, playing loud music, dancing on the street during noon hours are stricly prohibited and punishable by law. Including for non-muslim as well.
